The God of Life is the first part of the Cycle, it is believed to be the progenitor of every living being. Genesis is a neutral force that is neither good nor evil, it exists merely to create life in this world and does so constantly. Were it not for the passage of time in the Cycle, the world would be overrun with its creations. It is also considered to be the only one that can create a soul and bestow it upon an entity.

Genesis, after the War of Change is believed to be in great pain, as many of its creations died before the Clock’s approval. Cycleists and worshippers of this deity try to return the order of life, by repopulating existing species and creating new ones.

Worshippers of this deity often consider their life’s purpose to be creating new lifeforms, healing the dead earth, and retaking what they can from the Warp. Tenants of their worship are protecting nature, not meddling with the natural order of things, which often results in sacrificing many things for the greater good of Genesis and this world.

In the First Ages Genesis’ temples were secluded structures made from living beings, blending in with forests and jungles. After the War of Change they could no longer remain stationary, so most of their temples are now constructed on the backs of animals or moving plants so that they can move and hide from the Warp’s influence.

Genesis worshipers hold a firm belief that after their death, their soul will return to Genesis to fuel further creation of life. As such most of their graves have trees planted during the funeral, eventually turning graveyards into forrests of the dead that have merely taken on a new form.
